Announcements


Boys from Troop 34 in Hanson that are attending the National Jamboree in July are hosting a fundraiser on January 9th at Moe's Restaurant in the Hanover Mall.~
For each item purchased between the hours of 3:00pm and 8:30pm the boys will receive 15% of the cost.~ One of~the attached flyers must be presented at the time of purchase.~
Flyers will also be available at Town Hall.

The Whitman Hanson Education Fund will be hosting a Youth (under 25) Battle of the Bands on January 11, 2013 at the Whitman Hanson Regional High School from 8-11 PM

Boy Scout Troop 430 will be holding an Electronic Recycling Day on Saturday,     January 12th at the Maquan School from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  For more information or to schedule a pick up go to www.troup430recycles.com.

Representative Josh Cutler will be holding Office Hours on Friday, January 11th at 9:00 a.m. at the Hanson Senior Center.  Appointments are not necessary.  The public is invited to stop by and meet with Representative Cutler.

The Boy Scouts of Troop 34 Hanson~will take your Christmas tree, from outside of your house, for a $5 donation~to help fund our Scouting activities.~To schedule a pick-up Email troop34hanson@comcast.net~~ or call Kevin @ 781-582-6288 or visit www.troop34hanson.org.  Christmas Tree pick-ups will be held on Jan. 12 or 13.

Open Burning Season will begin January 15th and will run until May 1st. Permits can be obtained starting January 10th at Fire Headquarters, 505 Liberty Street, daily from 9-5. The cost of a permit is $20.00 payable by check or money order made out to The Town of Hanson. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.
